POOLESVILLE HS: 2
We lost another hard-fought game against Poolesville. However, we were pleased with the outcome in that we held Poolesville to only 2 goals, continued to frustrate their players by not allowing them open shots to the goal and we were able to push the ball up the field numerous times. We were even able to have a handful of shots on goal including a series of corners that were within inches of resulting in a goal for us. Girls are definitely working hard and improving and we'll be looking forward to playing our next game against Watkins Mill to see if their hard work can pay off in a win.
