Rockville Varsity Rams stole the lead late and defeated Northwood High School 20-19 on Wednesday.  The game was tied at 13 with Rockville Varsity Rams batting in the bottom of the third when Rockville Varsity Rams scored on a stolen base during Natalie Bacon's at bat. Then Bacon singled , driving in one.

Despite falling down by nine runs in the second inning, Northwood High School tried to fight back.  Northwood High School scored 15 runs in the failed comeback on a single by Williams in the third, a groundout by Bonilla in the third, a single by Romero in the third, a error in the third, a in the third, a single by Ashley Zelaya in the third, a single by Step Zelaya in the third, a groundout by Melanie Coleman in the fourth, a walk by Mercedes in the fourth, a walk by Zelaya in the fourth, a walk by Christine Monge in the fourth, and a single by Williams in the fourth.

Rockville Varsity Rams captured the lead in the first inning.  Angela Kelley- Thompson drew a walk, scoring one run.

Alyssa Anderson was the winning pitcher for Rockville Varsity Rams. The pitcher surrendered five runs on one hit over one inning, striking out two.  Chloe Gromer threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Fynn Burow went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Rockville Varsity Rams in hits.  Ashliey Guese led Rockville Varsity Rams with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 14 stolen bases.

Williams led Northwood High School with two hits in three at bats.  Northwood High School stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Williams led the way with three.
